If you think all wasabi comes in a form of tube paste, you are actually missing the best of wasabi. Raw wasabi grown in the clear waters of Japan Alps gives you the authentic aroma and flavor, best matching with meal like soba and sashimi. With the Hakuba Optional plan you will be visiting Daio Wasabi Farm, Japan’s largest wasabi farm covering 15 hectares. The farm is located in Hotaka, Azumino, 32km north from the center of Matsumoto.
